Puggo's Restaurant

From its beginnings in the downtown center 12 years ago to its current home nestled in the hills of Montezuma, Puggo’s has become an iconic restaurant for tourists and locals alike. Chef Maya’s creativity shines in her menus and her ingenuity sparkles throughout the whimsical garden space. Puggo’s is an open-air, garden restaurant with a full cocktail menu and a center stage perfect for live music shows.  ​

Dinner Menu   

Puggo's Focaccia: Homemade bread with toasted sesame seeds and a head of candied garlic, brushed with olive oil and herbs. Served with tomato salsa for dipping.

Puggo's Fries: Crispy homemade fries, served with a selection of dips.

The Rolling Stones: Crispy fried olives and classic falafel served with flavoured tahini.   

Green Papaya Salad: Julienned green papaya, carrot, cabbage, cucumber, cilantro, green and red onion, tossed with a traditional Thai vinaigrette and almonds.

Melting Flower: A whole cauliflower with olive oil, garlic, and herbs, slow-roasted and tender enough to eat with a spoon. Served with tzatziki.

Cuban Cigars: A thin pastry wrapped around a delicate filling of spiced ground beef, onions, mixed nuts, and herbs. Fried golden and crispy, and served with our classic Puggos hummus, jalapeño pesto and a fresh tomato and garlic salad. Vegan Option: Filled with pumpkin, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and mixed nuts.

Eggplant Carpaccio: A layer of creamy eggplant with black garlic aioli. Sprinkled with crushed pistachios, sun-dried tomatoes, goat-feta cheese, herbs, and lemon zest. Dressed with fresh lemon juice, olive oil, and tahini.  Served with our freshly baked Puggos Focaccia. Vegan and Gluten-Free Options Available

Beef Carpaccio: Thinly sliced tenderloin with lemon vinaigrette, sweet balsamic, parmesan and mixed greens. Served with our freshly baked Puggos Focaccia.   
Queen's Tuna: Fresh tuna tartar with strawberries, avocado, red onion, jalapeño, and a seaweed-rice puff. Served on a lettuce boat with an Asiatic dressing and topped with Tobiko. Accompanied by wasabi aioli.  
Vegan Option: Marinated tofu.

Green Wave: Fresh fish and calamari with a spinach tempura. Served with wasabi aioli, smoked-chipotle aioli, and garlic-dill dip. Vegan Option: avocado slices. 

Moroccan Fish Stew: Whitefish, chickpeas, tomato, red pepper, spicy chili, paprika and herbs, served with fresh baked focaccia and hummus. Gluten-Free Option Available

Pork on the Beach: Crispy yet tender marinated pork belly, caramelized in an oyster sauce and fire roasted. Served with Puggos Fries and a mixed-greens salad with carnalized pineapple, dressed in a lemon-mustard vinaigrette. 

Homemade Burgers: Served on homemade buns and topped with lettuce, roasted tomato, red onion, and pickles. Accompanied by Puggos Fries with smoked-chipotle aioli and garlic-dill dip.  Gluten-Free Option Available.  Vegan Option: Patty made from beets, lentils, caramelized onions, walnuts, herbs, and chia seeds.
